READING SERVICES
I now offer a reading service for writers. Any fees must be paid in full before work commences. Please make all cheques payable to C.Newland and post enquiries below. Unfortunately I do not read Non-Fiction or Children’s books.
Fees are as follows:
FICTION
1-2 pages synopsis and 50 double spaced pages: £150
1-2 page synopsis and 100 double spaced pages: £250
Manuscripts 101-200 pages: £300
Manuscripts longer than 200 pages @ £1.50
per double spaced page for first 300 pages
and £1.00 per page thereafter: £1.50 per page+/£1.00 thereafter
SHORT STORIES
Up to 3000 words: £75
Each additional 2000 word (over 3000): £10
Hi, the Scholar was an inspiration to me, so first of all thanks for that. I am writing to enquire about timescales and t and cs for the reading service. I am working on redrafting a conspiracy thriller and want to improve my submission package. Please let me know how long the process takes for a 50 page manuscript and what sort of report/feedback I’d get.
